I've been meaning to rave about the recently released El-P album Cancer 4 Cure since I first heard it. You can read my review of it over at The Orange Press.
It took me a while longer to listen to the album El-P did with Killer Mike, released at the same time. It's also pure dope with heavy, old-school hiphop beats built perfectly for Killer Mike and the other guests.
I've been a huge fan of El-P though wasn't a huge fan of I'll sleep When You're Dead but really grew to love Weareallgoingtoburninhellmegamixxx3. Cancer 4 Cure and R.A.P. Music feel like El-P is at the top of his game, something I wasn't expecting.
Anyway, he got the Nardwuar treatment and it's entertaining as always:
